Dr. Linghan Bai (MD) is qualified in both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Bai grew up in Wuhan, central mainland China, and has a family background enriched in medicine across three generations, practising both Western and Chinese Medicine. Bai has spent time in the hospital system both in China and in Australia before moving into private practice in Ballarat. Bai practices Nerve-Stimulation Therapy (also known as 7 star or plum blossom needling technique), developed by his late grandfather and has been integrated as part of modern day Chinese medicine and practiced across the globe.

Bai completed Western medical training and was practising medicine in China before moving to Australia in 2006. Following this he completed further medical training in Australia and gained certificate from the Australian Medical Council (AMC) to practice in Australia. Bai completed part of his medical training in Ballarat at Ballarat Base Hospital & Grampians region. Bai has completed two Masters degrees in Applied Science in both acupuncture clinical practice and research in acupuncture for pain management.
Bai comes from a family of both Western and Chinese medicine practitioners, spanning across 3 generations. Bai’s late grandfather developed the well known Plum Blossom Needling Technique otherwise referred to as Nerve-Stimulation Therapy or 7-Star Needling Technique, that is well known and used worldwide. This technique provides an effective and non-invasive solution for various types of pain conditions. Bai has special interest in pain management, both muscular skeletal and internal medicine.
